1. Educational Visit And Tours:
Milestone School organizes educational visits and tours giving an opportunity to collaborate with teachers, and integrate new perspectives with informal environments to enhance learning initiatives and skill development.
2. Parent Teacher Meet:
Parents are formally invited to meet all the subject teachers and class-teachers 8 (eight) times in a year on the occasions of Result Distribution. Teachers allocate their time to interact and discuss with parents regarding overall performance of learners at school.
If you have any specific discussion, please approach your ward’s class teacher in the first instance, then the Coordinator. They will bring issues to the attention of the Principal/Vice-Principal who will get involved at an appropriate time or level.
3. Co-curricular Activities:
House Division: Milestone School infuses each learner into subunits of House in the moment of the enrolment and remain in the same until the end of their stay at school. The House System provides excellent opportunities for student leadership and peer group support. Aided by dedicated staff members, and House Captains, it is a remarkable medium for enabling students of different ages to bond together and operate as a cohesive family. Houses are a common and successful way of building a superb school community and spirit. The Houses compete in different sporting, cultural, and academic competitions, and provide an excellent way to synergize with different classes and ages, all of whom have a common goal and purpose.
The Four Houses are aptly named against World Heritage Sites of Nepal as:
- Changunarayan House – Blue
- Swoyambhunath House – Green
- Pashupatinath House – Red
- Bouddhanath House – Yellow
Scout Troop: In Milestone School, scout troop is formed to take them into the incredible journey that transforms young people into leaders, adventurers, self-confident, ethical, and compassionate leaders. This program connects with family, nature, and new friends. An opportunity to learn fun and life-saving skills one cannot find anywhere else.
Sports Academy: Milestone School has introduced Weekend Special Training courses on Basketball and Futsal.It will be the full-circle facility designed to update by creating a multi-platform environment that activates, educates and provides an opportunity for trainees to unlock their full potential.Anyone from or outside school will be eligible to enroll in this Academy.
Friends of Zoo (FoZ): Milestone School is connected with Central Zoo – National Trust for Nature Conservation for awareness and action for wild animals and environmental protection.
